ELSNER is focused on continuous improvement to bolster our capabilities to manufacture innovative converting equipment, second to none. Congratualations ELSNER employees Denise Sprenkle and James Wheeler who worked diligently to receive four National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) credentials each in only five days of training on-site.
Both Denise and James earned their NIMS credentials in Measurement, Materials, & Safety, Job Planning, Benchwork, & Layout, Milling I and Drill Press Skills. NIMs Representative Rich Nestor was on-hand to facilitate the course. He also provided experienced insight to employees at ELSNER, Abbottstown Industries, as well as the Conewago Valley, Hanover and South Western School Districts.
Since this training, ELSNER enjoys a total of five credentialed employees who are on-site and six credentialed instructors at three local school districts to help answer technical questions regarding machining for employees, pre-apprentices and apprentices at ELSNER.
